Can you help?  Any donation big or small will be much appreciated to help those near the Ukraine zero line cope with the upcoming winter

Adur Ukraine Support Association are working jointly with Surrey Stands with Ukraine (SSWU) this autumn to fund Winter Aid Packs for individuals and families living near the zero line in Ukraine.

SSWU have been funding these for 2 years now and with their charity partner in Ukraine (Fort Volunteers) these packs have been put together and distributed to those in the most need, to help them get through the winter.

 

The packs include a single burner portable gas stove, several gas cannisters, Fleece blanket, torch and battery pack.

 

Russia has been targetting energy infrastructure throughout their war on Ukraine and it is expected that this will continue leaving many with little or no heating, lighting and cooking capability.  These aid packs are intended to provide a little help with those challenges.

 

The packs are funded by donations, the money is sent to the Ukraine charity who then source, build and deliver the packs. This has benefits by removing expensive transport costs, supporting the Ukraine economy and enabling bulk discounts on items.  This year the cost of each pack is expected to be around £50
