SHOEBOX APPEAL

We are making shoeboxes of useful items and gifts for children in Ukraine, displaced or affected by the ongoing conflict.

We are planning to send these shoeboxes out Spring/Summer 2026

​

If you would like to help us with this appeal, you can help by donating any of the following:

​

• a completed shoebox

• an empty, standard size shoebox (ideally with detachable lid)

• items from the list below to go into the shoeboxes

• or donating money towards the items and transport

Donated items can be delivered via any group participating - you will have received communication from them if you are part of a participating group or to our humanitarian aid campaign drop off points on the designated dates/times - see home page for drop-off details​

To complete a shoebox:

• Find an empty standard size shoe box - preferably with a removable lid - ask at shoe shops

• Decorate with wrapping paper or plain paper and draw or paint on it - keep the lid flat though for stacking

• Fill with all items from the list below (if you are not able to supply all items, please include a note of what is missing)

• Put a small gift card for the child in the box

• Put an elastic band around the box

• If there is any specific gender or age range add a note under the elastic band​​
