When you join an activity or event, you indicate that you accept these conditions and accept that no legal liability is accepted by Adur Ukraine Support Association or the group, activity or event organisers or hosts in the event of accident, injury or loss as a result of participation in the group activity or event or in connection with travel to or from such event, however caused.

 

Everyone taking part in any group activity or event does so at their own risk and is responsible for their own preparation and readiness for the activity or event.

 

Adur Ukraine Support Association does not provide liability insurance for the protection of individuals participating in any of its group activities or events.

 

We do not employ qualified guides, group leaders or first aiders on any of our walks, or at any of our activities or events.

 

The groups work on the same basis of being a group of friends who do activities together, others are invited to join on this basis.

 

Outdoor activities frequently need specialist equipment (boots, waterproofs, etc) and you are responsible for providing these yourself.  

 

You are responsible for assessing your own risk, safety and the suitability of any equipment used.

 

You take personal responsibility for assessing your own personal fitness to participate in any activity or event.

 

You acknowledge that if you have a health issue, it is your responsibility to take appropriate steps in safeguarding yourself.

 

While accepting no responsibility or liability for activities or events, the host or group leader may, at their discretion, not admit you to join the event or activity if, in their opinion, you are ill-equipped or they have other concerns related to your participation in the specific activity or event.

Children (under 18) are welcome at some events and activities – full responsibility and liability for the child belongs with the parent or guardian at all times and all above considerations relating to the child are also the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Children must be accompanied at all times unless explicitly stated on the event or activity.
