ABOUT US

Adur Ukraine Support Association (AUSA) was first established in September 2022 to formalise the work and support of a group of volunteers who had been fundraising and providing support to Ukrainians in the Adur (Sompting, Lancing, Shoreham, Southwick, Fishersgate) area since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia in February 2022.

During 2024/2025 AUSA broadened its reach to include support for those in the Worthing area also and strengthened its connections and integrations with other groups in Chichester, Bognor, East Preston, Brighton and Hove and Lewes.

In August 2025 AUSA succesfully transitioned to become a registered charity - registered in England and Wales as a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation), number 1214539 and we continue to strengthen our support, connections and integration work.

Our group involves the whole community with input and participation from Ukrainian guests, Ukrainian diaspora, hosts and sponsors and local interested residents helping to increase social inclusion and broader connection and integration of Ukrainians with the local communities that they live in.
