AUSA Hiking trip along the river Adur

šæ Therapeutic walk along the River Adur šæ
We invite you to a scenic walk along one of the most beautiful routes in West Sussex.
š 10:30 Meet at the Adur Recreation Ground parking lot Shoreham-by-Sea BN43 5LT: free parking
During the walk we will:
āļø pass by Shoreham Airport;
āŖ admire the majestic Lancing College and see the famous Lancing Chapel up close;
š climb the South Downs trails, where we will meet sheep, and if you are lucky, funny pigs in their houses;
š conquer Beeding Hill - one of the most picturesque heights of the Adur Valley, from where breathtaking panoramic views of the river, coast and hills of the South Downs open. This place is especially famous for its wide viewing points and incredible sunsets.
š° We will descend to the historic village of Bramber and have a picnic near the ruins of the medieval Bramber Castle, from where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Adour Valley.
š After the picnic, you can return by bus number 2 or take the shorter route back along the river.
š Route length: approximately 8ā9 km š„¾ Difficulty level: medium ā° Estimated duration: 3ā4 hours, including stops and a picnic
Don't forget water, comfortable shoes and a good mood. The walk is great for relaxing, socializing and recharging in nature.
